New larger HDMI home entertainment solution from Smart-e Smart-e Limited is the first to launch an HDMI home entertainment system that provides a complete solution for all format requirements in one unit, without compromising HDMI transmission.
Named the SMX-16x16, the solution allows digital content from both HDMI and DVI devices to be distributed, over long cable lengths, together with traditional analogue devices, including PC, VCRs, DVDs and cameras, as well as high resolution devices such as Blu-ray, games consoles, HD set top box (Sky, Freesat), and video servers. Part of the company’s ‘smartmix’ AV range, the SMX-16x16 includes a high powered distribution matrix featuring 16 inputs and 16 outputs, and combines switching and distribution of analogue (YPrPb) and HDMI signals. Additionally, the SMX-16x16 combines local and remote connections, and can be IP controlled, using Smart-e specialist software, SmartiP. This unique combination of features is easy to install and use, and provides a flexible, scalable and inexpensive AV solution for home entertainment systems. Smart-e is a UK designer & manufacturer of professional solutions providing integrated control of audio, video, computer, and IP, for use in home entertainment, global communications, presentations, remote teaching & interactive learning, security surveillance and digital signage. |
