Smartcore2

The compact CAT* to CAT* matrix, smartcore2 is a multi-format video and stereo audio distribution solution consisting of modular blocks of 16 inputs and 16 outputs, which can be upgraded on-site to reach up to 256 sources and displays. The system is so compact that a 64 inputs x 64 outputs version fits neatly into a single 6U 19 inch chassis, ideal where space is limited. SmartCore2 mixes central AV resources with remote, allowing the sharing of AV resources both ‘building wide’ and with remote field locations. Designed for continuous working activity 24/7, smartcore2 controls a wide range of applications where the transmission of AV signals across long distances is required. It accommodates a variety of video formats, providing a single solution for mixing computer images, security cameras and TVs. Features include SmartiP, the company’s IP and web browser control software with an easy-to-use web browser user interface and a comprehensive suite of control facilities including crosspoint control, macros, scheduling and IP control. Integral screen management allows for dynamic display control, for resolutions up to 1920x1200 whilst Smart-e’s Image Correction Processing (ICP) technology automatically adjusts image quality for varying cable lengths. The system which is compatible with Smart-e transmitters and receivers, allows all remote CCTV cameras to be used on any internal screen.

New 3D digital equipment

Visitors to Smart-e’s stand will also be able to see Smart-e’s new point-to-point digital solution that enables 3D viewing. Featuring HDMI v 1.4, infra-red and RS232 passthrough, the system is HDCP compliant and distributes signals over a single CAT* 100m cable thereby reducing cable requirements.
CAT* refers to CAT 5, 5e, 6, 7 and 8 structured cabling.
