Smart-e launch new range of digital AV solutions As a result of intensive development by UK designer and manufacturer Smart-e Limited, a new comprehensive range of digital systems is being launched by the company at this year’s Home Technology Event. The range incorporates many features designed for a wide range of applications from commercial to home entertainment. 
Part of the Smart Digital Solution (SDS) series being introduced over the coming year, the range consists of a distribution matrix as well as a series of point-to-point extenders providing a complete range of digital equipment to meet all needs. The SDS series offers the highest quality HDMI switching and distribution using a single CAT* cable, which accommodate video and audio (AV) signals in both digital and analogue formats. As Smart-e’s managing director Jon Lane says “We believe we are the first UK company to offer 3D compatible systems to meet the demand for 3D viewing. Much effort has been spent making sure the systems are user-friendly and have extra functionality for multiple applications, from home entertainment to commercial use”. |
