Smart-e appoint Steljes
AV designer and manufacturer Smart-e Limited has announced a new distribution agreement with the Steljes Group, who has become its UK and Ireland distributor to the AV and IT reseller channel.
The agreement, which comes into effect on 1st April 2012, enables Smart-e to concentrate on the design and manufacture of its cutting-edge AV switching and extending technology, whilst Steljes focus on delivering high level sales and support of Smart-e’s analogue and digital AV equipment.

Long range receiver upgrades make for easier install
Smart-e Limited has upgraded and improved the SLX-RX214 CAT 5-8 receiver unit. Compatible with all Smart-e products, the receiver can now be adjusted remotely using a simple PC application through the same CAT 5-8 cable.
Cable compensation together with individual colour skew correction can be adjusted using on-screen scroll bars or alternatively precise cable distances can be input if known. Horizontal and vertical sync polarity previously set by internal jumpers can now be selected both through the application and via the external buttons removing the need to detach the lid.

ISE 2012 success for AV designer Smart-e

New digital equipment from Smart-e
A new series of digital equipment for presentation/boardroom solutions and training facilities is being launched by AV company Smart-e Limited at ISE 2012.
The new range consists of a selection of wall and floor plates, a boardroom presentation system, and a range of point-to-point extenders, together with a fully featured 8x8 HDMI matrix. The new digital products have been designed and manufactured by UK-based Smart-e to provide a total digital solution for a wide range of applications, from lecture theatres and collaborative work spaces to video conferencing and digital signage.
