The SDS-1002 is a wall or Floor mounted Transmitter and Receiver pair for extending HDMI, RGBHV and stereo audio with options of composite video and audio together with Ethernet (requires extra cable) and RS232.
The SDS-1002 uses standard CAT 5-8 STP cable which is flexible, narrow in diameter and low cost. The cables can fit into small trunking and can be terminated easily with standard RJ45 connectors. The system can transmit a mix of signal types simultaneously, consistent with installing a plasma, LCD or projector in Boardrooms, lecture halls and classrooms. The system requires 3 CAT 5-8 cables and can extend the signals up to a distance of 30m.
