MDX-16×16

The MDX-16×16 is an extremely flexible and fully featured modular 16×16 seamless switching matrix. Four channel input and output blades accomodate a wide range of signal types, whilst individual output scaling produces correct aspect ratio for any display size.

The Smart-e Digital Modular Matrix (DMM) series of matrices house various input/output blades allowing you to design your matrix to the exact requirements of the installation. (I/O Blades found on next tab).

On the MDX-16×16, each input blade has a total of 4 input or 4 output connectors, each blade slot can take either a digital or analogue blade. This approach provides exceptional flexibility, enabling the installer/user to choose the appropriate input/output blades for their system requirement. Product lifespan is optimised as it can be re-deployed for an alternative purpose, simply by changing the input/output blades. Likewise, maintenance burden is reduced with the ability to readily swap-out and exchange blades.

The MDX-16×16 chassis has full matrix switching capablilities, allowing any blade input to any blade output. Analogue inputs will be digitzed and scaled to 720p or 1080p automatically. (controllable)

EDID read/write and HDCP is fully supported to ensure stable source-display connectivity.

The MDX-16×16 can be controlled in various ways, including IR, RS232 and TCP/IP.

The chassis is supplied complete with an AC100-240V 50/60Hz adaptive power supply built in with a standard IEC socket.

The MDX-16×16 is designed in 3RU 19-inch rack mountable form factor for installation to equipment racks or credenzas.
